Over the Easter Break and in the lead up to the exam you need to revise core content. Suggested activities might include:

Essay questions – write out a spider diagram of content (K) and then write an introduction. (+ go one further & write the essay!)

Create revision cards/ posters on topics you find challenging

Find someone to ask you questions based on Kerr revision book.

All pupils are receiving regular revision topics as homework and pupils have been directed towards resources they can access to help with individual targets. Revision should be well under way.

23rd Feb – Paper 1 NAB (Britain)

29th Feb – 1st draft of Extended Essay due in

29th March – Extended Essay under exam conditions (N.B. pupils with BB class period 5 that day may miss shuttle bus at lunchtime)

USA NAB resits to be arranged & sat before Easter Break

Back by popular demand ….. History study sessions will run for 4 lunchtimes to help pupils gain greater confidence in Enquiry Skills.

Both S4 History classes will soon be assessed on their knowledge and understanding of  Trench Warfare at either Credit or General level.

Assessments will be held in the week beginning the 5th of September.

Pupil marks and next steps will be recorded in their planners soon after.

Past Papers can be borrowed from class to revise ES questions.

Students completed Democracy and Suffrage units before the summer in Dyce lessons and are now working on the USA and essay skills.

At BB students will continue working on Paper 2 .
